It is titled Trappings of Technology and the "new" new approach.

I’m a 28 year old woman [Ed: 29 as of Aug 7th!], whose been living with the “few” extra pounds that turned into almost a hundred extra pounds for a number of years. I’ve always been considered “larger” than average, even in highschool (would I kill for those legs now or what?!). My profession as a registered nurse in a major teaching hospital keeps me very busy (I have two jobs) and very tired.

Although I was increasing in weight, I was not getting depressed (thankfully!). I didn’t feel like the stereotyped overweight person. I didn’t realize fully what was happening to me. My health has always been good (save some knee cracking) although familial diabetes and cardiac conditions looms in my future.

Somewhere between the “fattest” point of my life and now, I found a plan that’s working for me. That’s what I’m sharing with you. My first few journal entries are a bit lengthy as they provide some background information about this latest journey into the road to being a good weight.

Your feedback is always welcome on the message board or by email krystyn@myweightbattle.com!

Let’s see what unfolds…
