Hello Everyone! I have been asked to share the story, the ups the downs with my personal battle with weight. Like so many others out there I contracted a thyroid condition (hypothyroidism)that basically slowed my body down to a crawl. Weight began to accumulate in conjunction with this condition and the birth of my two children.
I never had a problem with weight until the early 1990's. In fact, I was always underweight. As I approach my 39th year I have decided that enough is enough and launched into a full fledged assault on my overall health and fitness. The thyroid is now somewhat under control with medication and I am beginning the next phase of my life; optimum health and physical fitness.
